A Higher Power...

Hey Everyone! I've been quite busy lately so that is why I haven't blogged! But don't give up on me being a frequent blogger yet! Because I'm procrastinating to write this!! So, you know that I was planning on renting a room at a family friend's house while going to college because I was 128th on the dorm room waiting list and it seemed pretty unlikely that that would happen. But I kept forgetting to call and take my name off the list because I had made other arrangements! On Monday night after Nate and I left to go to my Dad's camp for a couple days (a picture of the sunset at my Dad's camp on Tuesday night, above), my college called to tell me that there was now a room in residence for me, if I wanted it, and that I had 48 hours to decide. Except I got home from camp on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00, giving me about three hours to decide!! Geez, was I ever stressed out - I weighed the pros and cons of both places. And for most of the night I was leaning towards staying at the family friend's house, but then something hit me, and it hit me hard saying that I'm meant to be in residence because the chances, I thought, of being such a high number on the list and actually getting a room, is definitely from a higher power. So after many long minutes (three hours) of discussion with a couple people who weren't very helpful (thanks anyways guys!), I knew it was my decision, and no one could tell me what I should do . . . I called my college back and took the dorm room! I am now an officially 'on campus student'! lol I'm really excited for college, and it's getting so close! : )
